As the days get a little longer & the sunny afternoons start to outweigh the cloudy ones, aren't we all itching for long summer lunches and breezy beach days? That would be a great big YES from all of us! And you know what summer time means? Kaftans & summer dresses. Drool. 

Year after year there will always be certain summer trends that never fade: linen shirts, leather sandals & florals to name a few. However, the colour trends certainly bring a new flavour one season to the next. 

We have done a little digging & these are the colours we will be wearing this Spring/Summer season. 

1. Beach glass 

This perfect pairing of blue and green is the epitome of a tropical island. An extremely versatile colour, this will be your ultimate travel buddy this season. Pair beautifully with white, denim, baby blue, green and black. 

2. Aqua Ocean 

Express yourself with beautiful lively aqua hues for a picnic-perfect look. The playful blue tones will add an elegant yet relaxed feel to your summer aesthetic. Pair beautifully with white, gold, red, black and light blue.

3. Mango Magic 

Illuminating Yellow was one of the colour duo's named as Pantone Colour of The Year. Expressing life, vivacity, and positivism....who wouldn't want to be wearing it! As a light & comforting tone, the softer butter yellows are extremely adaptable & will add that little ray of sunshine to your summer wardrobe. 

4. Polar Night

When you think of summer, black, charcoal or smoke are likely not the first colours that come to mind. But trust us, this season your little black dress is coming to be you best little friend! Day or night, maxi or mini a black dress will be the perfect choice every time. Worried about overheating? Enter the kaftan. This will be your lifeline this summer. Trust us... don't go anywhere without it! Pair well with: Cream, black, red and all shades of grey. 

 5. Seriously, cerise.  

Pink is always trending in our books, however 2022 is playing out of its boots with these pink hues. Think bold, bright & beautiful - from dresses to pants, accessories & statement pieces, hot pink is going to be adding that pop of colour we are all looking for! 

Start the season off with a fresh & elegant feel. Whether you are floating around the house or lounging next to the pool - you will be looking fabulous in any of the shades mentioned above.
