Bought size 18 Duck down Midi coat. Wore most days in Japan in temperatures of -2 to 7 degrees celcius. Usually only had a short or longsleeve tshirt underneath and was cosy warm .Bought larger size so I could layer if necessary.
Love the zip pockets. Little fiddly with cold hands.
Got drenched in two days. Definitely only water resistant however pleased to say it was bone dry again within 12 hours.
Love this coat. Rolls up into a great head pillow to use on bus.Quick and easy once I realised just stuff in bag.

Wonderful how elegantly my proudly South African jacket has climatized to a European winter. It was perfect for the cold temperatures and I loved how light and easy to wear it felt. Luxurious comfort.
I did however struggle to keep my fur trim attached to the oversized hood which made this feature of the coat a bit difficult to use. Both these need to be reviewed by the manufacturer.

Great coat! I have been wearing it in the cold and rainy Europe weather, and it has been lovely. It is not waterproof, but the material dries super quickly. Very warm. I had to exchange mine for a bigger size, and customer service was phenomenal!!

Love my sage down midi jacket. Its like wearing a pretty, shapely sleeping bag. It keeps me warm at night around the braai fire. Just a comment, order a size smaller than you normally are, as the sizes are generous. Inge was very responsive when I needed to exchange mine for a size smaller. I definitely would recommend Duck Apparel.

In actual fact I exchanged the Midi coat size 34 ———-for the thigh length coat size 32 as I had misjudged the sizes.
I am a small person and I was drowning in the midi size 34.
